The story

A stronghold, and the light that walks into it

AGBARANLA THE RETURN is a powerful reimagining of the classic 1991 Mount Zion film Agbaranla, bringing its timeless message of light, faith, and spiritual warfare to a new generation.

For years, Muwonleru has been held captive by the powerful herbalist Isawuru. When God calls Bose and Kola to take the Gospel to the village, they ignore the call. The assignment is then entrusted to Olaboye and Olatomi, who leave their lucrative city jobs to carry the light of Christ into Muwonleru.

Their arrival sparks a fierce clash between light and darkness, as Isawuru fights to protect his stronghold. But as the battle intensifies, the power of God prevails—not only bringing deliverance to Muwonleru, but also confronting Bose and Kola with the darkness that has held them captive, leading to their ultimate deliverance and restoration.
